Storytime with HWP
Story and activity
Service Description
In this thoughtful and engaging program, kids will listen to a story that explores at least one of the following themes: personal boundaries, kindness, bravery, gender stereotypes, friendships, and more. After reading, the group will discuss the story’s lesson and connect it to their own lives—How do we set boundaries? What does it mean to be a good friend? How can we celebrate differences? Through storytelling and conversation, kids will learn valuable lessons about healthy relationships and how to build them in everyday life. If desired, kids can engage in a fun and related activity - be that through body movement or art! Want to chat about which book to read, and what activity to do? Contact us at education@haltonwomensplace.com Supplies needed: book (if requesting specific book), art supplies for activity (if desired) Ideal for: Summer Camps, After school programs, Libraries, Community Centers
