Self-Care: Knowing You, Honoring You
We’ll take care of the teaching—just bring the materials!
Service Description
Join us as we create a self-care item of your choice and learn about what self-care really means and how it impact our relationships with others! In this program, we’ll explore what healthy self-care looks like, how to recognize when we need it, and how to identify the forms of care that work best for each of us as individuals. Together, we will: Define self-care and how it supports our emotional, mental, and physical well-being Learn to recognize our personal limits and the signs that we need to pause, rest, or reset Reflect on how taking care of ourselves helps us show up more honestly and fully in our relationships Discuss the difference between true self-care and habits that seem helpful but might actually be harmful (maladaptive coping) This is a space for honest conversation, reflection, and empowerment — where we learn that real self-care isn’t selfish. It’s essential. By knowing ourselves better, we learn how to show up for others in a healthier, more sustainable way. Supplies needed: the ingredients for self-care item (e.g., bath bombs, sugar rub, breathing stick, French loom).
