Service Description

In this interactive and confidence-building activity, kids will explore what it means to be a positive role model—and discover that they have leadership qualities of their own! Working in pairs or small groups, participants will talk, draw, and write about what makes someone a role model. They’ll share who their role models are (everyone’s may be different!) and create a drawing or story about that person. Then comes the empowering twist: kids will turn the spotlight on themselves! They’ll explore their own strengths and positive traits, like kindness, bravery, helpfulness, creativity, and more. Through guided discussion and creative activities, they’ll identify what leadership really means—and how those qualities can already be found within them. We’ll talk together about leadership qualities like empathy, confidence, teamwork, and fairness, and make sure everyone sees that these traits aren’t just for adults—or just for boys. By the end of the session, each child will leave feeling seen, celebrated, and empowered to be a leader in their own unique way—today and in the future! Supplies needed: paper, markers, or other writing utensils Ideal for: Summer Camps, After school programs, Libraries, Community Centers
